Job Responsibilities

As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing and evaluating data protection and privacy requirements and policies to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations
• Collaborating with our Digital Technology team to design, develop, and implement data protection and privacy solutions
• Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to protect our data assets
• Providing training and support to our employees on data protection and privacy best practices
• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy
• Working closely with our cybersecurity team to identify and respond to potential security threats

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as cybersecurity, information technology, or computer science
• 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
• Strong understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, including local, national, and international regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines and multiple priorities
• Reliable and punctual attendance is a must

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

• CISA certification
• Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
• Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
• Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
• Hands-on experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products
