Experienced Full Stack Remote Part-time Teacher - English and Math for Kindergarten to 6th Grade Students

Job Summary
We're seeking experienced and dedicated teachers to work with our elementary level students in English and math. These teachers will be responsible for teaching all English and math lessons for our students in kindergarten to 6th grade. Lessons will last for 15 weeks, with a maximum of 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week. We're looking for teachers who are passionate about working with kids, can teach in a developmentally friendly manner, and are committed to providing high-quality feedback to our students.
Responsibilities
As a Remote Part-time Teacher - English and Math for Kindergarten to 6th Grade Students, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching all English and math lessons for our students in kindergarten to 6th grade
- Creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Utilizing learning technology to enhance instruction and engage students
- Providing high-quality feedback to students and parents
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement lesson plans
- Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in elementary education, education, English, math, or a related field
- Teaching certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques
- Proficiency in tutoring students in subjects such as math and literacy
- Ability to create a safe and supportive classroom environment for all students
- Competence in utilizing learning technology to enhance instruction
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to work at least some of the hours listed in the job description, including Saturday and Sunday (5 am-8 am + 8 pm-11 pm EST) and Monday to Friday (5 am-8 am EST)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience teaching English and math to students in kindergarten to 6th grade
- TESOL certification
- Mandarin language proficiency
