Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Insurance Claims Collector to join our remote team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with insurance companies to determine the cause of denial or non-payment of claims, initiating appropriate action to prepare and submit documentation needed to resolve the denial or non-payment of claims, and following up to the point of payment or exhaustion of recourse. Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Full Stack Insurance Claims Collector, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• Working with insurance companies to determine the cause of denial or non-payment of claims
• Initiating appropriate action to prepare and submit documentation needed to resolve the denial or non-payment of claims
• Following up to the point of payment or exhaustion of recourse
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex claims issues
• Providing exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
• Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in medical billing and insurance collections

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical insurance billing and claims follow-up
• Strong knowledge of medical billing and insurance collections principles and practices
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
