About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in applying the latest customer service techniques and learning our account management systems to improve the customer experience during challenging times. This part-time position offers flexibility, with approximately 3-29 hours of work per week. You will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of shifts that suit your schedule, all from the comfort of your own home office. Our remote work arrangement allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering exceptional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary duties will include:

  • Providing positive customer service and technical expertise through prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer inquiries
  • Offering empathy and support to customers during the claim process
  • Collecting and documenting claim details accurately
  • Identifying and resolving customer issues by adhering to client-specific handling instructions
  • Utilizing call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries
  • Remaining available for extended hours or additional shifts during peak periods or emergency situations to provide critical support
  • Adhering to break and lunch schedules to maintain productivity and ensure consistent customer service coverage
  • Successfully demonstrating blithequark's core values, including customer-first approach, self-motivation, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Language skills, including the ability to read and interpret documents such as police and accident reports
  • Ability to write routine correspondence and detailed accident descriptions
  • Ability to project a confident, clear, and professional telephone presence
  • Ability to provide feedback verbally and in writing in a positive, professional manner
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of basic computer functions, Microsoft Word, and Excel, with a typing speed of at least 40wpm

Education and Experience

We require:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-2 years of quality assurance experience is preferred

Network Requirements

To work from home effectively, you will need:

  • A reliable computer with a speed test result from www.speedtest.net
  • An Ethernet connection is strongly recommended, although not required
  • A private network, as you will not be allowed to work in public locations
  • No VPNs are allowed, as logins must occur in the US
