Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Data Ingestion: Lead the effort in driving information ingestion into the enterprise data warehouse, ensuring seamless integration and data quality.
  • Develop and Implement Data Modeling Strategies: Execute best practice data modeling strategies to deliver domain-relevant data models that meet business needs.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Create and uphold data quality standards and governance policies to maintain high-quality data across the organization.
  • Optimize Data Architecture: Drive performance improvement and scalability of data architecture and engineering strategies to support business growth.
  • Support Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders on data projects, ensuring alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Manage Third-Party Relationships: Oversee third-party relationships in support of data projects, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution, completed and verified before the start date.
  • A minimum of 2 years of combined experience in data/analytics engineering in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong Understanding of Data Analysis Concepts: Proficiency in data analysis concepts, statistical analysis, and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of Integration Tools: Familiarity with integration tools like IICS, Informatica PowerCenter (Wind current), Oozie, or DBt for workflow management.
  • Experience with Big Data Technologies: Experience working with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work with large and complex datasets.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
