Experienced Customer Service Representative – Order Processing and Production Support

Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, verifying purchase orders, and ensuring accurate and efficient production processes. You will work closely with our account managers, estimating department, and production team to ensure seamless communication and timely delivery of orders. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Process customer orders generated by account managers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in quotation and order entry

  • Verify purchase orders over $5000 for accuracy and completeness
  • Document and arrange all releases from inventory, and file tickets for completed jobs
  • Thoroughly understand production capabilities and products produced by blithequark
  • Evaluate and verify purchase order correspondence with quotation, and verify with account managers when questions arise
  • Prepare materials for return to customers, and document Haz-Mat orders
  • Order marketing materials, and manage internal forms (e.g., custom labels, bills of lading, job tickets, invoices)
  • Manage FSI and FSC records, and fill in for account managers when necessary
  • Assist the estimating department as required, and perform additional tasks and duties as delegated by the Director of Sales
  • Work in compliance with Safe-Well policies at all times

Essential Qualifications

* High school graduate or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical school preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, order processing, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and thoroughly, with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and other software applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Knowledge of production capabilities and products produced by blithequark
  • Familiarity with FSI and FSC records
  • Bronze designation on ACT or equivalent
  • Associate's degree or technical school in a related field

Work Environment

* Manufacturing office, climate-controlled environment

  • Minimal travel required
  • 8-hour shift, day shift, Monday to Friday
  • In-person work location
