Job Summary
As a Remote Payroll Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering payroll data into multiple systems, processing payments, and verifying order accuracy. You will also support ad hoc projects, prepare reports, and educate customers on blithequark products and services. This is a contract position with a competitive hourly rate of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, and you will work 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Enter payroll data into multiple systems, including pre and post-sales information, orders, and payments
- Process and post payments, and verify order accuracy
- Support and lead ad hoc projects generated by blithequark Sales Channels
- Prepare reports as requested
- Educate customers on blithequark products and services
- Meet or exceed critical monthly performance standards, including data entry accuracy and productivity
- Draft routine client and/or customer correspondence
- Respond to questions, help resolve problems, and direct calls to appropriate resources
- Complete special operational and client projects as assigned
- Act as liaison and coordinator with other departments, outside vendors, and external customers
- Provide order activity updates to Sales Support Manager or Supervisor
- Coordinate and process off-line orders coming through G2B, E-commerce, Friends and Family
- May act as backup phone support during periods of high call volume or point of contact for customers in the absence of the sales force
Requirements
* High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience in payroll data entry or a related field
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, including intermediate level skills
- Experience with data entry and payroll/commission background a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet critical performance standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with payroll software and systems
- Knowledge of telecom industry and products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a remote environment and maintain high levels of productivity
