HIM Tech - Medical Records Tech - Full-time / Part-time
Health Information Technician – Part Time 24 hours/week Join our Health Information Management team as a Health Information Technician! In this role, you'll ensure the accuracy, quality, and accessibility of patient records within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Responsibilities include scanning and indexing patient documents, auditing for quality assurance, and supporting document imaging workflows. You may also assist with fax processing, scanner maintenance and other tasks to support the team. Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer proficiency and 10-key by touch
- Prior experience in Health Information preferred
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team
Work Schedule Summary:
- Training Period (Approx. 3 Months):
- On-site only
- Monday–Friday, 4–5 hours/day
- Start time: 9:00 AM
- Post-Training:
- Start time may shift slightly earlier or later — flexibility required
- Daily hours vary based on workload
- Potential for hybrid setup: begin each day in office, transition to remote work
- Work continues until daily volume is completed
Pay Range: $19.70 - $27.58 The above information is intended to indicate the general nature and level of work required in this position.
