Job Summary

We're seeking a passionate and empathetic Customer Service - Healthcare Prescription Benefits Specialist to join our team on a project basis. As a Healthcare Customer Care Coordinator, you will address customers' prescription healthcare benefits questions, provide solutions, and ensure a seamless experience. You don't need a background in healthcare or insurance; we value a passion for learning, excellent communication skills, and a desire to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Answer inbound calls from US customers, addressing questions and concerns regarding their prescription healthcare benefits, claims, deductibles, coverage, and more.
  • Benefits Explanation: Provide clear information about customers' insurance coverage, including what's included in their benefit plan, copays, and assistance with coverage determination.
  • Prescription Support: Handle prescription refills, order status updates, and tracking, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Customer Education: Educate customers on online self-service tools, troubleshoot issues, and empower them to manage their benefits effectively.
  • Empathy and Resolution: Listen actively, empathize with customers, and resolve concerns to simplify their healthcare experience.
  • Technical Navigation: Navigate multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy, adapting to new call types and flexing support as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

Work at Home Requirements:

  • Internet Connection: High-speed internet with at least 10 mbps download speed (no satellite, Wi-Fi, or cellular/wireless carrier hotspot or internet services).
  • Dedicated Workspace: A dedicated, quiet, and secured workspace with no distractions.
  • Equipment: A hard-wired internet connection via ethernet cable to modem/router that you own/are responsible for; a USB wired headset with noise-canceling microphone.

Additional Requirements:

  • Age and Education: 18+ years old and high school diploma/GED.
  • Experience: Entry-level position with a minimum of 6 months customer service experience.
  • Personality and Attitude: Customer-focused personality, professional positive attitude, and courteous telephone etiquette.
  • Schedule Availability: Full-time schedule availability to meet business needs, including evenings and weekends.
  • Compliance: Willing to submit a drug test and background check.
