We're excited to announce an immediate opening for a Specialty Pharmacist to join our Specialty Mail Service Pharmacy team in Mount Prospect, IL. As a Pharmacist in this role, you'll have the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, leadership, and guidance to patients and healthcare professionals while ensuring the accurate delivery of pharmaceutical care services.

About Our Specialty Mail Service Pharmacy

Our Specialty Mail Service Pharmacy is a critical component of our healthcare services, providing patients with access to complex therapies and personalized care. As a Specialty Pharmacist, you'll be part of a team that's passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful impact on people's health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure the accurate delivery of pharmaceutical care services, including drug therapy monitoring, patient education, and chronic disease state management.
• Provide leadership and guidance to supporting staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in specialty pharmacy, including new therapies and treatment options.

Essential Qualifications

• Six months of pharmacy experience, with a focus on patient care and customer service.
• A Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Active licensure as a practicing pharmacist in Illinois.
• Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, splitting time between working from home and onsite (approx. 50/50).
• Availability to work an overnight schedule (7:30pm - 7:30am CST) with a rotating schedule (3 on, 1 off, 4 on, 6 off).

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty or PBM experience, with a deep understanding of the complexities of specialty pharmacy.
• Home Infusion experience, with knowledge of infusion therapies and patient care.
• Licenses in multiple states or the ability to obtain licensure in additional states.
