Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Call Center Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. This full-time temporary position offers the potential for conversion to permanent based on good performance. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for managing incoming customer queries, processing payments and modifications, and escalating complaints. Your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring that our clients' needs are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities

As a Call Center Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing incoming customer queries and fielding questions regarding policy information
  • Taking a high volume of calls, communicating via email and letters as appropriate
  • Processing payments, modifications, and escalating complaints
  • Delivering exceptional overall customer service
  • Documenting all client communications
  • Serving as the point person for our clients as well as their customers

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a call-center environment
  • Demonstrated communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong independent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High energy, customer-centric approach, friendly demeanor, empathy, and patience
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate:

  • Experience in the insurance industry or related field
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with phone systems and software
