Key Responsibilities
As our Director, Consumer Data Collection and Activation, you'll be responsible for driving first-party (1PD) customer data collection and activation strategies across our digital ecosystem. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive plans for gathering, managing, and utilizing first-party customer data across our digital environment
- Designing and enhancing data collection structures, including website cookies, customer enrollments, surveys, and other online interactions, to capture valuable customer insights
- Defining and executing customized customer journeys across digital channels, ensuring consistency and relevance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align first-party customer data collection and activation strategies with overall business objectives
- Cultivating a collaborative environment that fosters information sharing and cross-functional collaboration
- Working closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure data collection practices comply with industry standards and regulations
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, business, computer science)
- At least 8-12 years of experience in a digital customer engagement or CRM leadership role
- Proven expertise in data-driven customer engagement strategies and a passion for advocating for the best customer experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and partners
- A results-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret business goals into meaningful customer engagement strategies
- Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM platforms, such as Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Experience with data analysis, customer segmentation, and targeting strategies
- Familiarity with industry-standard data management platforms and tools
- Certification in data management, marketing automation, or a related field
