Key Responsibilities

• Teach Language Arts to middle school students, following the curriculum and instructional plans developed by the regular classroom teacher.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.

• Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment, promoting social-emotional learning and academic achievement.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
• A valid teaching certificate or eligibility for certification in the state of Connecticut.
• Experience in teaching Language Arts to middle school students, or a related subject area.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
