Key Responsibilities

• Implement daily lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
• Demonstrate a 100% commitment to preparing every student for post-secondary success
• Uphold Intrinsic's student culture by promoting mutual respect and a focus on learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver both online and offline instruction
• Lead an advisory group that meets daily to support students' academic and personal growth
• Review student-level data to inform instruction and student groupings, using tools such as SAT-aligned interim assessments and data from online programs
• Continuously seek to improve practice through data analysis, observation, feedback, and video reflection
• Support student learning outside the classroom by facilitating clubs, after-school tutoring, office hours, and more
• Contribute to the overall Intrinsic Team by supporting colleagues, participating in school-wide events, and seeking ways to improve the school

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A certification to teach in Illinois or be currently enrolled in an alternative certification program
• A track record of driving student outcomes or a history of achievement with students from similar populations
• Experience using technology in the classroom or a willingness to be an early adopter of technology in personal and professional life
• ESL Certification is preferred, but not required
