Ngenius Tutoring and Test Prep is a renowned educational support center that provides personalized tutoring and test preparation services to students from Kindergarten to College. Our team of expert instructors is committed to helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential. We offer a range of services, including subject-specific tutoring, test prep for standardized tests like the ACT and SAT, and support for homeschooling families.

Key Responsibilities

• Tutor high school students in various math subjects, including Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Cal, and Calculus
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans to help students grasp complex math concepts
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to ask questions and explore math concepts
• Communicate with students and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to learning
• Choose your own schedule from our flexible hours, which include late afternoons and early evenings, 7 days a week

Essential Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of high school math concepts, particularly Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and ability to work with students who may be struggling with math concepts
• Ability to boost students' academic confidence and motivation
• Flexibility to work a consistent schedule, with some flexibility to accommodate changing student needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in teaching or tutoring math, particularly at the high school level
• Knowledge of other subjects, such as science, reading comprehension, or ACT prep
• Education degree or relevant teaching certification
• Familiarity with our tutoring center's approach and values
