Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team of talented engineers at blithequark. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable and efficient web and cloud applications that meet the needs of our clients. With a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and technologies, from cloud-based infrastructure to mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and deploy scalable and efficient web and cloud applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Scala, and cloud-based infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and industry standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to colleagues
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and apply this knowledge to improve our solutions and processes
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support as needed
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
- Strong knowledge of Java, Scala, and cloud-based infrastructure
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as Cassandra and Elasticsearch
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with microservices architecture and service-oriented design
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Jira and Asana
