Key Responsibilities

• Develop a technical approach to enhance the American Express cloud platform, with a focus on building automation for the delivery of scalable cloud services.
• Collaborate with various engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy APIs and solutions that are high-quality, scalable, and secure.
• Explore and apply the latest technologies and libraries to help create sustainable products.
• Develop software programs that make code efficient, including implementing controls, connections, testing, and deployment.
• Work with NSQL databases, platforms, and partitions to develop API/middleware solutions.
• Participate in the rapid development process and contribute to the improvement of the QE process.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as GoLang and/or Java.
• Experience with cloud engineering, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, etc.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus:

• Experience with NSQL databases.
• Understanding of the QE process and rapid development methodologies.
• Knowledge of open-source products and technologies.
