About the Role:

As a Region Chief, you'll be responsible for leading a multi-unit team of Starbucks stores, driving business growth, and developing exceptional customer experiences. You'll be a key partner in shaping the company's strategies, influencing innovation, and making a positive impact in local communities. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your retail leadership experience, business acumen, and passion for customer service to drive success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute region-level strategies to achieve business objectives, drive sales growth, and enhance customer satisfaction across multiple Starbucks stores
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and driving talent development
  • Provide expertise on key customer issues, talent development, store operations, and company policies and procedures, serving as a trusted resource for your team
  • Drive business results by analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer feedback, and making informed decisions to optimize store performance
  • Cultivate strong relationships with local stakeholders, partners, and customers, promoting the Starbucks brand and driving community engagement

Qualifications and Requirements:

To succeed as a Region Chief, you'll need a strong background in retail leadership, business acumen, and talent development. We're looking for individuals with:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Retail experience managing at least 2 stores, divisions, or units, with P&L, inventory, operations, and customer service responsibilities
  • Leadership experience managing a team of at least 6, with training and coaching responsibilities, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a customer-focused role, with a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive business results
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; professional degree in business or a related field, or US Military experience, may be considered in lieu of some required experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a multi-unit retail or restaurant environment, with knowledge of industry operations and financial reporting
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in driving sales growth, managing costs, and optimizing business performance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances
