About the Role:

Are you a creative problem solver, results-oriented, and empathetic customer partner? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? As a Customer Collections Account Representative at blithequark, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. You will be responsible for connecting, navigating, influencing, and providing solutions to our customers, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities:

As a Customer Collections Account Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Complying with all specified FDCPA, state, and city laws and provisions, as outlined in the blithequark Compliance with FDCPA and State Collection laws Statement, the blithequark A/R Training program, and the FDCPA Test
  • Making arrangements with customers to pay balance in full or set up the best possible arrangements
  • Documenting all collection activity in the client/blithequark system in a concise and accurate manner
  • Correcting any deficiencies or oversights as outlined by U/M or Manager during telephone monitor, file activity, or QA reviews
  • Maintaining good public relations
  • Coping with high-stress environments caused by speaking with emotional callers
  • Adhering to Company attendance, punctuality, and meal and rest break requirements
  • Maintaining concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals
  • Reacting positively to an ongoing, changing environment
  • Demonstrating the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals
  • Maintaining good working relationships with assigned supervisors and coworkers
  • Working safely without presenting a threat to self or others
  • Performing additional duties as required by management

Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who possesses:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to remain engaged on the phone throughout the entirety of your shift with minimal to no distractions
  • Computer/technology savvy with the ability to smoothly operate multiple windows and tabs, while simultaneously providing Best-In-Class Customer Experience speaking to customers over the phone
  • Superb attendance, so you can be there when our customers need us
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
