Key Responsibilities

• Design and Build Scalable Systems: Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems that meet the needs of our business.
• Technical Leadership: Leverage your technical skills to drive towards the right solution and engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle.
• Code Reviews and Mentorship: Lead code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization and mentor other engineers.
• Reusable Components: Define, create, and support reusable application components/patterns from a business and technology perspective.
• Azure Tools and Services: Utilize developer tooling and a variety of Azure tools and services across the software development life cycle.
• Problem-Solving: Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities.

Essential Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Programming Experience: Advanced programming experience with at least two modern languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Web Service Integration: Strong understanding of web service integration (REST/SOAP) and enterprise middleware integration tiers (Apache Camel, Spring, Spring Boot).
• Cloud Architecture: Advanced understanding of DevOps Concepts and Cloud Architecture.
• Databases: Experience with databases such as MS SQL Server and Oracle.

Soft Skills

• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead projects and interact with clients and sponsors.
