About the role

We’re looking for a QA Engineer II to join our growing engineering team. As a QA Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in manual functional testing, API testing, regression, exploratory testing, and risk-based analysis. You’ll be a partner in quality—not just logging bugs, but proactively raising risks, improving test coverage, and ensuring our users have the best possible experience.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in Agile environments, takes ownership of testing, and collaborates closely with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers to deliver high-quality software.

Seniority Level: Mid Level

Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual test cases and scenarios for web, mobile, and API features.

  • Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, exploratory, UI, and cross-platform testing across major browsers, Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Test REST APIs using tools like Postman and validate backend data using basic SQL queries.

  • Log detailed, reproducible bugs and track defects from initial logging through to resolution using tools like ClickUp. Validate fixes and perform re-testing to confirm issues are resolved.

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA peers in an Agile/Scrum environment to review requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product quality. Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

  • Proactively identify risks, edge cases, and opportunities for process improvement. Provide clear, timely feedback to development teams and contribute to QA documentation, including test plans and checklists.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance for web and mobile platforms.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and core QA methodologies, including manual, regression, and risk-based testing.

  • Proficiency with QA and project management tools such as Postman, DBeaver, and ClickUp or similar. Hands-on experience with cross-platform and cross-browser testing, API testing, and writing basic SQL queries.

  • Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.

  • A personal computer with stable internet capable of efficiently running these development tools and applications.

  • Available to work 3–4 hours during EST to collaborate with the US team.

Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of BDD (Gherkin syntax).

  • Familiarity with BrowserStack or similar tools.

What’s in it for you?

As a full-time member of our team, you’ll enjoy:

  • Work wherever you choose.

  • Unlimited Paid Time off.

  • Paid non-working holidays per country of residence.

  • Pro-rated 13th-month bonus in select regions.

  • Referral bonuses.

  • Financial support for online courses.

  • Fun and casual work environment.

  • Employee engagement activities and virtual gatherings.

  • We are a diverse, global team!
