JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Business Development leads regional growth initiatives by managing and developing strategic relationships with Provider Organizations. This role is responsible for developing and executing mid- to long-term sales strategies and driving new business acquisition across an assigned territory.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $150,000 annually. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead regional business development efforts to drive, manage and develop new provider relationships and revenue opportunities for Claritev.
  2. Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with organizational and growth goals.
  3. Brings about and nurtures all related marketplace relationships
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across sales, marketing, and client services.
  5. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  6. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  7. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
  8. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  9. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  10. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  11. Demonstrate Company’s Core Competencies and values held within.

Qualifications

JOB SCOPE

Operates with a high degree of autonomy and strategic influence. Responsible for managing complex relationships and driving regional growth initiatives. Requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training)

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of business development experience with provider organizations.
  • Proven success in achieving growth targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Professional demeanor and team-oriented mindset.
  • PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
  • Individuals in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone
