Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a range of topics in social media and social justice communications, including communications strategies for social justice, social justice media, digital public relations, and campaigns
• Teach other courses in Advertising and Public Relations as needed
• Advise students and contribute to student success initiatives
• Participate in service to the university and community, including committee work and outreach efforts
• Teach both in-residence and online as needed

Education and Experience:

Candidates for the position should have:

• A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., advertising, public relations, communications)
• A record of relevant professional experience in social media communications
• Excellent teaching and communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse student populations and contribute to a culture of inclusive excellence

Preferred Qualifications:
