We are seeking an experienced and skilled Internet Technical Support Representative I to join our team. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, walking customers through common hardware and software configurations to maximize product functionality
  • Navigate multiple tools to identify the root cause of customer issues, while keeping customers engaged and informed
  • Schedule on-site service calls when necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues
  • Multitask, talking, typing, reading, and listening, while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency
  • Meet or exceed attendance expectations, sales goals, and performance targets, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
  • Enter sales, upgrades, or service changes quickly and accurately, ensuring seamless and efficient processing of customer requests
  • Adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, demonstrating flexibility, resilience, and a willingness to learn and grow

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, 2-year degree preferred
  • 1 year+ of prior customer service or technical support experience, with cable industry experience preferred
  • Previous experience in an inbound call center environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to work successfully while multitasking, speaking, typing, and moving in and out of multiple platforms
  • Knowledge of common consumer internet software, including various browsers and email platforms, with a basic understanding of internet, networking, and email protocols
  • Strong customer service skills, including listening skills, processing detailed information, and ability to establish rapport with customers
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to type 30+ WPM
  • Shift flexibility, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-year degree or higher in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, or communications
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or technical support, with a proven track record of success and achievement
  • Advanced knowledge of internet, networking, and email protocols, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems
  • Certifications or training in customer service, technical support, or a related field, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
