As a Behavior Technician with our team, you'll play a vital role in implementing ABA therapy programs, working closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and families to drive meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy to children with ASD, implementing treatment plans and behavior support strategies developed by our BCBA supervisors.
• Collect and record behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions, using this information to inform treatment decisions and drive progress.
• Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support plans, and engage in other activities that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our clients.
• Collaborate with BCBA supervisors to refine treatment plans, address client needs, and stay up-to-date on best practices in ABA therapy.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, their families, and our care team, ensuring seamless communication and coordinated care.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, adhering to our values and standards for service delivery, confidentiality, and client respect.
• Arrive on time, prepared for therapy sessions, and demonstrate flexibility in your schedule to accommodate the needs of our clients.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed as a Behavior Technician with Key Autism Services, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree or be working towards a degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Education, Sociology).
• At least 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting, or equivalent experience as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor.
• Previous ABA experience is preferred, but not required – we'll provide comprehensive training to support your growth and success.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and our care team.
• A reliable vehicle and personal means of transportation, as you'll be required to travel to client homes.
• The physical ability to lift up to 35lbs, bend, kneel, squat, and engage in other activities that require fine and gross motor skills.
