Position: Floor Tech

Key Responsibilities
- Execute floor maintenance tasks such as cleaning, buffing, and refinishing throughout resident rooms, communal areas, and offices
- Operate floor care machinery safely and effectively
- Keep accurate records of floor maintenance work and notify supervisors of any issues or safety concerns
- Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a hygienic environment
- Engage positively with residents, staff, and visitors, ensuring top-notch customer service
- Perform additional duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous floor care experience is an advantage but not necessary
- Maintain a positive outlook and communicate effectively with residents and supervisory staff for the successful execution of daily duties
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination guidelines
- Ability to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for long durations
- Capability to handle routine and repetitive tasks consistently
- Must be comfortable working around food and cleaning agents
- Ability to follow both oral and written instructions and perform regular daily tasks
- Must reside within the service area
