What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Handling daily member telephone calls, directing them to necessary services, providing education, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Assisting providers with eligibility, benefits, and claims problems, ensuring that our members receive the care they need
• Collaborating with the Medical Management Department for service authorizations, working closely with our team to ensure seamless service delivery
• Working remotely to ensure efficient service delivery, leveraging technology to stay connected with our team and members
• Maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions, providing exceptional service to our members and exceeding their expectations

What Is Required (Qualifications)

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent certification
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service with direct customer contact, demonstrating your ability to handle complex issues and provide exceptional service
• Strong communication skills for interactions via telephone, email, chat, or face-to-face, ensuring that you can effectively communicate with our members and team
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting, leveraging technology to stay connected and productive
• Knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care functions, allowing you to navigate our complex healthcare system and provide expert guidance to our members

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

While not required, we are looking for candidates with:

• One (1) year of experience in a physician healthcare office or high-volume call center, demonstrating your ability to handle high-pressure situations and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care operations, allowing you to navigate our complex healthcare system and provide expert guidance to our members
