Golden Hippo, a rapidly growing, tech-forward wellness and lifestyle company, is seeking a talented and motivated Video Editor (Motion Graphics Artist) to join its dynamic creative team. In this role, you’ll be a crucial contributor to the production of high-impact, visually engaging marketing videos that drive real-world results. You’ll take the lead in creating scroll-stopping content that lives across digital and social platforms — including Facebook, You Tube, Tik Tok, and Instagram. We’re looking for someone who not only knows how to cut a clean sequence but can also bring stories to life using motion graphics and animation techniques. From conceptual editing to polishing the final product, your work will combine artistry, performance-based strategy, and innovation to support our portfolio of health and wellness brands. What You’ll Be Doing As a Video Editor with motion graphics expertise, your responsibilities will include:

• Story-Driven Video Editing:

Transform raw footage into powerful, consumer-facing video content. You’ll edit short-form ads, branded content, product videos, and testimonials while ensuring a smooth narrative flow and top-tier production quality.

• Motion Graphics Design:

Design and animate motion graphics that elevate video content — from kinetic typography and logo animations to more complex animated compositions. Your work will appear on platforms like You Tube, Facebook, and Tik Tok.

• Collaboration with Story Producers:

Work closely with producers, writers, and creative strategists to develop content that aligns with brand goals and converts viewers into customers.

• Creative Optimization:

Interpret data-driven feedback to refine content quickly. You’ll help test and tweak ads based on performance insights while keeping creative integrity intact.

• Multi-Platform Delivery:

Ensure your edits and animations are optimized for various formats and screen sizes, while also making sure deliverables are technically sound and meet creative standards.

• Tool Mastery:

Use top industry tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Media Encoder to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.

• Trend Tracking & Innovation:

Stay on top of video trends, editing styles, and animation techniques. You’ll be encouraged to bring fresh ideas to every project and help push creative boundaries. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a self-starter with a keen eye for visual storytelling, excellent design instincts, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of video editing experience in a professional, commercial, or agency environment
• 2+ years of motion graphics experience, ideally within a digital marketing or creative setting
• A polished portfolio or production reel that showcases your editing skills and motion graphics capabilities (required with application)
• Strong sense of composition, pacing, and storytelling
• Familiarity with creating content optimized for digital platforms, especially social media
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Strong organizational skills and media asset management practices
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience with Cinema 4D, Mograph, or similar 3D animation tools
• Basic understanding of encoding, publishing, and exporting media assets for multi-platform use
• Experience on both Mac and PC systems
• Interest in health, wellness, pet care, or beauty content
