Internship Overview

As a Cyber Security Intern with Workwarp, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and gain valuable experience in the field of cybersecurity. The internship program will run for 11 weeks, from May 12 to July 25, 2025, and will be primarily remote, with the possibility of traveling to our corporate office in Atlanta for up to 3 weeks during the program. Travel expenses will be covered for eligible interns.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cyber Security Intern, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deploying various technologies to establish data privacy and security controls
  • Helping to improve application security
  • Managing system and software vulnerabilities
  • Establishing methods for securing connected or "smart" devices
  • Developing advanced cyber monitoring and security analytics solutions
  • Establishing cyber crisis management capabilities
  • Designing and delivering business-focused cyber wargames to prepare our clients with advanced techniques for responding to continually evolving cyber-attacks
  • Providing cyber forensics and incident response support

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this internship, you should be:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration with a concentration in Cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, information security, math, decision sciences, risk management, engineering, or other business/technology disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates who:

  • Are currently pursuing a relevant degree
  • Have 0-1 years of relevant work experience
  • Have an interest in working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team of engineers
  • Have general knowledge of security fundamentals
  • Have a solid understanding of Internet fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP)
  • Are familiar with and have some ability to code
  • Have a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
