Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Scientist at Disney Encounters, you will be responsible for developing and implementing AI and machine learning models that will drive the creation, deployment, and maintenance of our attractions and experiences. You will work closely with our internal partners to design and develop intelligent and data-driven systems that will enhance our visitors' experiences and push the limits of what is possible. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about innovation and excellence, and you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that will make a real impact on our visitors' lives.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement AI and machine learning models that will drive the creation, deployment, and maintenance of our attractions and experiences

  • Collaborate with our internal partners to design and develop intelligent and data-driven systems that will enhance our visitors' experiences
  • Lead and work with cross-functional teams to execute and scale AI and machine learning solutions that will make supernatural experiences for our visitors
  • Drive innovation, ideation, and proof-of-concept development that will lead to the growth of top-tier AI stages
  • Manage functional support and maintenance of ML-related products and services delivered by the team
  • Build standard techniques used in everyday tasks and work with specialty units to plan, design, and execute large-scale projects in the AI space
  • Productionize ML calculations in predictive analysis, clustering, image recognition, NLP, anomaly detection, and other areas, and assess their performance on real-world datasets
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve goals in improving system performance and coordinate with existing software practices that produce effective code, including automated testing, continuous integration, code style consistency, and code reviews

Required Capabilities and Abilities

* 2+ years of experience in Python and with predictive modeling experiences, such as TensorFlow, SparkMLib, PySpark, Light, MXNet, etc.

  • 2+ years of experience in cloud platforms like AWS and GCP
  • Proficient in SDLC, QA cycles, and Article Arranged Programming Configuration Examples
  • Master-level experience in structured and unstructured data (i.e., images, video, text, etc.) and SQL social and non-social datasets
  • 2+ years of experience with Wind stream or another data workflow management tool
  • Experience with version control software, like GitHub and GitLab, Model Operations, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in driving discovery processes with partners to identify business requirements and expected outcomes, relational abilities, and determination to complete responsibilities
  • Solid systems integration engineering skills, capable of transforming new tech into business solutions

Preferred Capabilities

* Experience with Docker

  • Experience with control frameworks
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with cloud solutions in GCP or another cloud platform
  • Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Agile development techniques
  • Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
  • Experience with data representation and data validation tools (e.g., Splunk, Plotly, Tableau)
  • Experience with audio analysis
  • Experience with text analysis

Education

* Master's of Science in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar technical background

  • Preferred: Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar technical background
