The Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in assisting members with their pharmacy benefit plans. You'll take inbound calls and answer questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions, providing solutions to help simplify their healthcare experience. Our call centers have a high-energy culture, and we're passionate about providing excellent customer service with empathy while resolving member questions on the first call.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist members with their pharmacy benefit plans, answering questions and providing solutions to help simplify their healthcare experience

  • Take inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide empathetic and personalized support to customers, resolving issues on the first call whenever possible
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and ensure seamless service delivery
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first call resolution, and customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* 6 months of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, or military experience

  • Verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using software applications

Preferred Qualifications

* 1 year of experience working in a Call Center environment or Healthcare related field

  • 6 months of work from home experience
  • Healthcare certification (e.g., Med Assistant) a plus
  • Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex customer issues and provide effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using software applications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and data
