Job Responsibilities: Driving Business Intelligence and Analysis

  • Analyze data using techniques such as data mining, data modeling, and cost or profit analysis to identify data and system issues affecting reporting and analytical deliverables.
  • Design and create data visualizations in Tableau or other visualization tools to effectively communicate insights.
  • Develop high-quality analyses and reports that meet Customers' needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and methodologies.
  • Create and optimize processes for data analysis and reporting for both internal and external Customers.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in data extraction, collection, integration, and analysis from multiple data resources.
  • Develop streamlined data blending and data manipulation workflows to reduce manual processes.
  • Support the SCM Department and Internal Customers through reporting, analysis, dashboard development, and application development.
  • Collaborate with Team Members across Supply Chain Management on strategic projects.
  • Perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders.

Essential Qualifications: Skills and Competencies for Success

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • Advanced skills in collecting, organizing, transforming, cleaning, visualizing, and assimilating data, including the ability to turn raw data into meaningful insights using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
  • Proficiency in identifying complex issues and reviewing related data to develop and evaluate alternatives and implement solutions.
  • The ability to illustrate understanding and knowledge of Stakeholders' needs and adapt methods accordingly.
  • Capability to facilitate data sharing among External Customers and SCM to create SWA data structures that meet consumer requirements.
  • Skill in prioritizing work with minimal supervision and meeting Customer timelines while delivering high-quality work.

Education and Experience: Building a Strong Foundation

Required Education

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

  • Advanced-degree experience in analytical, data technology, or data-centric environments.
  • Proven expertise in Data Analysis, Data Modelling, and Data Architecture.
  • Management of large data (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, or equivalent knowledge of ETL functionality).
  • Experience with data evaluation and visualization tools (e.g., Advanced Excel, Quickbase, SAP Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or equivalent).
  • General experience building complex models using multiple data sets to calculate TCO/cost savings/KPIs/etc.
  • Experience leading medium-scale corporate projects.

Work Environment and Company Culture

This role is available as a part-time remote opportunity, offering the flexibility to work from home while being part of a collaborative and dynamic team.
