Staff Accountant (Mid-Level)

Staff4Me is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining and reconciling financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting with various accounting tasks. Responsibilities

• Advanced knowledge of the department's SOPs and ability to identify the connection between the different processes across Vensure.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and monthly close transactional review. G/L posting, fixed assets/depreciation, cost-center allocations, prepaid expenses and accrued liabilities support.
• Assisting in audit preparation and responses.
• Attention to detail and assisting the team leader in controlling accounting associates.
• Providing active support in the training of the team itself and in the analysis of complex cases and doubt resolution.
• Providing feedback and suggestions to improve processes efficiency.
• Reviewing compliance with KPI's and assisting team leaders in internal reports.
• Natural curiosity - will research and figure out possible requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPA certification or progress towards certification is a plus.
