Chassis Engineer - Actuators/Foundation Brake

We're seeking a talented individual to lead the design and release efforts for components on our innovative brake system. As a member of the chassis team at Zoox, you'll work to meet engineering milestones and collaborate with tier-one suppliers to develop and release foundation brake and hydraulic distribution components. This role encompasses both supplier-led designs and in-house developed build-to-print components. Responsibilities include managing component and system specifications, conducting failure mode and effects analysis, creating 2D and 3D computer-aided drawings and models, overseeing PLM release process documents, planning and executing validation tests, managing suppliers, and maintaining detailed project timelines. Close collaboration with cross-functional groups across Zoox is essential for success in this role. Compensation

There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
