Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk/Excel professional, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Entering data using a standard keyboard with high accuracy and speed
  • Verifying data from scanned documents into one of two processing systems, checking for accuracy, and making corrections as required
  • Working independently to complete assigned tasks within strict deadlines
  • Utilizing excellent comparison skills to ensure data accuracy and attention to detail
  • Sitting for extended periods while reviewing and keying onscreen data in a fast-paced production environment

Special Requirements

In addition to the key responsibilities, you must be able to:

  • Alpha-numeric key a minimum of 45 words per minute with no errors
  • Pass a typing test to verify this skill, which will be administered to the most qualified applicants after the interview process

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Experience entering data into a computer system
  • Experience entering or verifying confidential or Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
  • Experience utilizing computer programs and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, for data entry, report production, and document creation

Preferred Qualifications

Well-qualified candidates will have experience in the following:

  • Document capture/processing software, such as IBM Intelligent Forms Processing (IFP), Kofax Capture, or OnBase
  • Formal training in data entry, document processing, or a related field
