Licensed Pharmacy Technician, Data Entry – Remote Opportunity – Indeed Jobs US

We are currently hiring a Licensed Pharmacy Technician with a focus on data entry to join our remote operations team. This is a full-time, work-from-home position ideal for highly organized individuals with strong attention to detail and a valid pharmacy technician license.

As a Licensed Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry, you will play a key role in processing and verifying prescriptions accurately and efficiently. You'll support our pharmacists and ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations. Your contributions will help deliver safe and timely medications to patients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter prescription orders into pharmacy systems with 100% accuracy.

• Review prescriptions for completeness, legibility, and regulatory compliance.

• Communicate with prescribers for clarifications or missing information.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate remotely with pharmacists and technicians on prescription workflows.

• Assist with billing, insurance claims, and resolving order entry issues.

• Support other data entry and pharmacy-related tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active state pharmacy technician license (in good standing).

• National certification (CPhT) strongly preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent typing and data entry skills (accuracy and speed).

• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (e.g., QS/1, PioneerRx, Rx30).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Reliable internet connection and secure home office setup.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay: $18 – $24 based on experience and certification.
