About the Position
This part-time, seasonal role is specifically designed for the "Peak" season, requiring the use of your personal vehicle for deliveries. As a FedEx Delivery Driver - Personal Vehicle, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering small packages to various locations using your personal vehicle
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring packages are delivered safely
- Following routes and time schedules
- Maintaining timely and accurate delivery schedules
- Following all MCK and FedEx safety standards at all times
- Using a scanner provided by MCK Enterprises, Inc. to log deliveries
Responsibilities
* Deliver small packages to various locations using your personal vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure packages are delivered safely
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Maintain timely and accurate delivery schedules
- Follow all MCK and FedEx safety standards at all times
- Use a scanner provided by MCK Enterprises, Inc. to log deliveries
Requirements
* Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment
- Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
- Must have a personal vehicle that is no more than 15 years old
- Vehicle locks must work; pickup trucks must have a locking bed cover
- Must have/maintain valid auto insurance
- Must be safety-minded in all areas of work
- Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Be able to work in all types of weather
- Have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude
Nice-to-Haves
* Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver is a plus but not required
- Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
