Job Summary

As our Director, Supply Chain - Manufacturing, you will play a critical role in achieving our manufacturing goals while ensuring the safety of our people, workplace, and environment. You will be functionally responsible for production, quality assurance, maintenance, and inventory departments, and will develop initiatives to achieve performance, quality, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Strategic Initiatives: Create and execute plans to achieve performance, quality, and safety standards, and ensure the achievement of manufacturing goals.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Account Management: Work closely with sales teams to plan and forecast new business, and maximize productive capabilities to achieve customer satisfaction while attaining operating costs and goals.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Manage and implement change to ensure continuous improvement, and develop and execute an Operational Excellence plan.
  • Strategic Investment and Asset Management: Make strategic investments in capital to achieve improvement in performance measures, productivity, and asset preservation.
  • Translate Customer and Corporate Priorities: Translate customer and corporate priorities into achievable objectives for the Work Unit, and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Lead and Coach Managers: Personally direct and coach managers, and ensure coaching and development occur throughout the organization.
  • Infrastructure Development: Develop and implement an infrastructure development plan, including IT/SAP and plant floor manufacturing execution systems.
  • Employee Engagement and Culture: Lead facility employee engagement and drive Workwarp's Purpose, Vision, and Values.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: College degree in Engineering or Business preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of successful management experience encompassing all facets of operations management.
  • Budgetary Development and Management: Strong understanding of budgetary development and management.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literate, with experience in IT/SAP and other manufacturing execution systems.
  • Strategic Vision: Strategic vision and understanding of tactics necessary to achieve company goals.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote and foster a diverse working environment.
  • Beverage Canning Experience: Experience in the beverage canning industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supply Chain Experience: Experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Experience with operational excellence initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Experience in leading and coaching teams, with a focus on developing and growing talent.
