About the Role

As a PMO Task Director, you'll play a critical role in leading the project management of high-priority initiatives across our Reservations and Customer Service division. You'll be responsible for organizing tasks from inception to execution and closure, ensuring seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Your expertise will help drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the project management of high-priority initiatives, including organizing tasks from inception to execution and closure * Develop and maintain project artifacts, including project plans, contracts, risk and issue logs, and dashboards * Manage multiple simultaneous projects of varying complexity and priority, across different teams and stakeholders * Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting areas of strength and collaboration across the organization * Develop and implement effective communication strategies, ensuring clear dissemination of information and consistent messaging * Support the development of business cases, prioritization, and divisional portfolio management * Establish and maintain strong relationships and feedback loops between leaders, functional partners, and cross-divisional teams * Contribute to the growth and development of the RES PMO capability and the establishment of a Center of Excellence for portfolio management

* Exceptional organizational, coordination, and creative problem-solving skills * Proven track record of success in managing and delivering multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity * Unparalleled communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across the organization and build strong relationships with partners and senior leadership * Ability to lead and work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team * Proficiency in written and oral communication, with the ability to create concise reports for executive presentations * Ability to perform effectively in their current role * Models Delta's Standards of the Street, guiding principles, and safety-conscious behaviors * Where permitted by relevant law, you have received or will receive the COVID-19 vaccine by the date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based work, while not already employed by Delta Carriers, Inc. * Consistently prioritizes the safety and security of self, others, and personal information * Embraces diversity, inclusivity, and different perspectives * High school diploma, GED, or equivalent * At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
