The Opportunity

As a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing top-notch service and support via inbound calls. Working from the comfort of your own home, you'll problem-solve and de-escalate unique situations while maintaining a high-paced call volume. If you're fluent in English and Spanish, possess excellent communication skills, and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound customer calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist customers with a wide range of inquiries, including confirming refunds, taking payments, placing orders, and analyzing account data
  • Personalize the customer experience by providing tailored solutions and recommendations
  • Navigate multiple systems and screens to efficiently resolve customer issues
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and collaborate with IT when necessary
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and meet performance metrics
  • Work a set schedule, including weekends, holidays, and additional hours as required
  • Report to an assigned supervisor and participate in ongoing training and development

The Right Candidate

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and personal qualities. Here are the essential and preferred qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment with a set schedule and structured day
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to navigate multiple systems and screens
  • Residency in Tennessee (or Florida or Virginia)
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience, particularly in a call center or retail environment
  • Experience working with diverse customer bases and adapting to different communication styles
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to de-escalate complex situations

System Requirements

To ensure that you can provide the best possible experience for our customers, we require:

  • A self-provided computer or laptop running a Microsoft Operating System (Windows 10) and not older than 3 years
  • A headset compatible with HSN specifications (we reimburse $75 for the headset)
  • A high-speed internet connection (satellite, broadband, wireless, or dial-up services are not supported)
  • Standard copper line phone service from a local phone company or bundled service from your internet provider

Training and Development

Your HSN career begins with a paid 5-week training period, where you'll learn the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. Our training program is designed to be engaging, interactive, and comprehensive, and you'll have the opportunity to ask questions, practice your skills, and receive feedback from experienced trainers.
