Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of customer inquiries, resolving post-order issues, and providing personalized support to our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Compassionately assisting clients with navigating various post-order issues, such as delivery questions, damages, returns, replacements, assembly services, and order notifications
  • Exhibiting reliability and commitment to being available and on time for your full shift every day
  • Handling an estimated 50-60 calls per shift in a fast-paced and highly organized environment
  • Meeting our elite performance bar by exceeding customer satisfaction, succeeding in gathering client support proficiency metrics, and other duties as assigned
  • Professionally connecting with clients, building relationships, and addressing concerns via inbound calls, chats, and emails
  • Listening effectively and showing empathy to understand client concerns and leveraging internal resources to find the best solution
  • De-escalating client concerns using peace promotion skills to align the needs of the client with the options from the business while remaining calm
  • Issue resolution: thinking systematically to solve client issues in a first-contact resolution approach
  • Being educated and performing multiple tasks, including navigating various programs, tabs, tools, and screens to quickly and accurately answer questions
  • Raising fundamental issues: identifying areas where improvement is needed for Wayfair clients and offering any trends with management

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend both languages
  • Knowledge of working within Windows Operating Systems or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with ease
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to navigate various software programs and tools

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications and skills will be highly regarded:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or retail environment
  • Experience working with CRM software or other customer service platforms
  • Knowledge of home decor, furniture, or related industries
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
