Senior Cloud Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Developer with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-native applications and solutions, ensuring high
performance, security, and reliability. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture & Development
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications leveraging AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Optimize workloads for cost, scalability, performance, and security.
- Application Development
- Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.
- Develop APIs and integration layers for enterprise systems.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
- Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and data protection standards.
- Partner with security teams to embed governance, monitoring, and incident response strategies.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and engineers.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of cloud solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud development, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and monitoring (CloudWatch, X-Ray, ELK/Prometheus/Grafana).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments.
