Sr. Operations Program Manager, Project Kuiper

Description Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. The Kuiper Electronic Supply Chain team is seeking a Sr Operations Technical Program Manager to drive technical manufacturing and supply chain operations Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) destined for our satellites. The successful candidate will manage contract manufacturers' end-to-end production processes while maintaining an uncompromising focus on quality and delivery requirements. This position will be based on site in Carson City, Nevada. Key job responsibilities - Develop and execute comprehensive PCBA supply chain execution and strategies to support high-volume satellite production while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, delivery and risk mitigation - Lead supplier qualification, and relationship management for complex, high-reliability PCBA manufacturing - Drive technical alignment between design teams, manufacturing partners, and quality engineering to optimize PCBA manufacturability and yield - Create and manage contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, including multi-sourcing strategies and geographical risk diversification - Partner with engineering and hardware teams to influence PCB design decisions that impact supply chain resilience - Lead cross-functional programs to qualify new PCBA technologies and manufacturing processes Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
