Your new role Due to a maternity leave we are looking for a KS1 teacher, most likely Y2 class teacher with phase leadership responsibility. This is an exciting opportunity to join our extended leadership group and have a wide impact upon the school. There is the opportunity for subject responsibility for the right candidate and we welcome applicants with experience or seeking new leadership experience. Working closely with our deputy head you will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, facilitate a positive learning environment where all students feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

What you’ll need to succeed You will be a qualified teacher who has patience and understanding with young children. You’ll be able to quickly adjust teaching methods to meet the needs of all children. It’s important you have the flexibility to be able to handle unexpected situations with professionalism and patience in interactions with a variety of children and situations, with a calm demeanour.
