Mechanical Spatial Analyst
ALTEN is seeking a Mechanical Spatial Analyst to work on embedded systems on board telecommunications satellites, in direct contact with major space industry players.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Master's degree or 3+ years of experience in mechanical spatial analysis, design, and simulation
- Experience with finite element method (FEM) and finite element modeling (FEM) software
- Proficiency in CAD software and finite element method software
- Knowledge of thermomechanical, dynamic, and acoustic analysis
- Familiarity with industry-standard finite element software (e.g. ANSYS, MSC Nastran)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software
- Certification in finite element method (e.g. ANSYS Certified
- Master's degree or 3+ years of experience in mechanical spatial analysis, design, and simulation
